Prager's is the local gold standard for all things bread. We stop in at least weekly to stock up on my family's favorite pizza dough, baguette, and croissants. Prager's is so consistent! It's always good, all the time. They're a well oiled machine when it comes for churning out flaky goodness. Plus my kids enjoy watching the bakers & their process during morning visits. Prager's is our go-to gift for teachers, friends, or potlucks. Grateful to have such a nice bakery so close by!

My go to place for bread and pastries up in north county. Their sandwiches are delicious to grab for lunch. For their breads, I love the miche sourdough, as well as their flatbreads. And it's such a treat to find pastries that are delicious, but aren't overly sweet. I always recommend this place to friends and family.

Wow wow wow. This is real bread. Chewy crunchy and soft. Their bread is fresh and amazing. There are lots to choose from. The walnut sourdough is to die for. The smells are so amazing I don't want to leave.

Prager is in an industrial area. It has a bakery side and a restaurant side. I wished they had more sweet baked goods. I got the Almond and plain croissant. The almond croissant was hard on the edges bit soft on the inside. Perhaps it had been sitting out a bit. The filling of almond paste was tasty. I also got a pre cut loaf off country sourdough bread. The bread was good. It was spongy with a definite taste of sourdough. Service was friendly and helpful. The bakery had indoor seating. You can even watch them make the bread through a large window.

I discovered them at the Vista farmers market and had to stop by their store to try other offerings. Their bread is sooo fresh and tasty, they have the best almond croissant I've ever had in my life! Will be going back to try the pizza!

The Prager brothers are near and dear to our family. Their first business started in (and still resides) in our food innovation warehouses in Carlsbad where the brothers started as kids straight out of college toying with the idea of following their passion for baking. Ancient grains. Specialized milling. Food education or Breaducation as they put it. I love all of their products including their nuttiest, breads full of crunch to their Butter cookies which their staff nicknamed "crack cookies" because they are so addicting. Our kids and family come back for these "buttery cookies" every time they are in town. They have both incorporated their Bakery success and first love(s): Music and Food Science... 1. There is Rock n roll live music venue every week at the bakery sites where the brothers play music in and invite bands to perform at 2. Breaducation: regular guests and honorary professors of ancient grain education at Ivy League Universities

Okayyyyyy Prager, this is a little slice of heaven! I'm a big Encinitas gal as I used to attend church in downtown Encinitas. I would always stop by their shop for fresh croissants or a breakfast sandwich whenever I had the chance. But living in Oceanside has changed my route a bit. I've been meaning to try their Carlsbad location for ages and today, dreams came true! There are two separate little cafes to order from (right next door to each other)...one focuses mainly on pizza and grab & go items. The other is the true bakery with the classic lineup of breads, pastries, and premade fresh sandwiches. We ordered two slices: the Florentine and sausage mushroom (each for $5) and they were scrumptious. You can also buy pastry flour, bagged coffee, a variety of drinks to go, and even some soups! The salad looks delicious as well. Coming back for a toasted bagel and cream cheese! Stop by and enjoy the gorgeous patio seating, friendly employees, quick service, and lovely view!
